While there are those who have sought and received surgical liposuction treatment in getting rid of fat deposits from their bodies, there are those who have always wanted to do the same but dread surgery. For such people, non-surgical liposuction treatment alternatives are now readily available. Such have proved to be safe and therefore do not present any side effects complications. They are also cost effective as most treatment procedures only take minutes. Additionally, the alternative treatments are not only offered in medical facilities but in salons and parlors as well.
Although different non-surgical liposuction treatment techniques are available, they all aim at one thing; melting and dissolving deposited fat within the body. This is very beneficial considering the fact that deposited fat within the body present the risk obesity and other serious health conditions. While some of the treatment techniques have been tested and approved by health agencies such as FDA, others have not. This makes it necessary for treatment seekers to carefully choose where to receive body fat removal treatment.
Another reason why treatment seekers may need to carefully choose where to receive treatment is the fact that the different non-surgical liposuction treatment techniques available may not be appropriate for use on different parts of the body. While one technique may only be effective in eliminating fat from one particular area of the body, another may be suitable for a different area. Generally however, the techniques work on the thighs, abdomen, upper arms, cheeks, chin, hips, buttocks and neck areas. All the techniques available fall into three categories; ultrasound, laser and body contour.
Ultrasound technique has become the most sought-after body fat treatment. It is completely non-surgical and therefore non-invasive. Sought after by both men and women, the treatment involves the use of ultrasound equipment that is simply placed on the area of the body to be treated. It produces ultrasound waves that penetrate the skin. The waves literally break down deposited fat that is then released into the body from where the fat is discharged naturally. Depending on area to be treated, one may need to undergo several treatment sessions to realize satisfactory results.
Laser treatment is the other popular non-surgical liposuction technique available. It involves the use of laser beam that is directed at the area to be treated. The beam penetrates the skin into the fat deposited; burning the fat that then finds its way into the bloodstream. Like in ultrasound treatment, the fat is expelled from the body naturally. Laser treatment has been found to be very effective in eliminating fat that remains deposited in the body after exercises. Several treatment sessions may be necessary.
Body contouring is the other treatment technique that is fast gaining popularity. Otherwise referred to as Coolsculpting, body contouring involves the use of two special device with two plates that are placed on an area of the body to be treated. Once set on, the plates become very cold and apply pressure. This pulls in that part of the body. The coldness has the effect of dissolving deposited fat, which finds its way into the bloodstream from where the same is expelled from the body naturally.
A common denominator with all these techniques is that release deposited fat into the bloodstream from where the fat is naturally expelled from the body. This makes it very necessary for treatment recipients to undertake additional measures to enhance expulsion of the fat and prevent further fat deposits. In this regard, exercises and healthy diet are critical.
